Step 1: Accessing the Slack Integration
Sign in to Chatbase and set up your bot
Ensure you have access to your Chatbase account. If you don't have one, you can create an account to proceed with the integration. You can set up a bot by uploading your data sources in the form of files, text, websites, or Q&As.
Locate the Slack Integration
In your chatbot menu, find and click on the "Integrations" tab. Then click the "Add to Slack workspace" button. This action will initiate the integration process and redirect you to Slack's website.
Step 2: Selecting Your Slack Workspace
Choose Your Workspace
You will be redirected to Slack's website where you will see a dropdown list displaying all the workspaces associated with your Slack account. Select the specific workspace where you want to integrate Chatbase. This choice determines where the chatbot will be available and operational.
Step 3: Granting Permissions
Authorize Chatbase
After selecting the desired workspace, you will be prompted to grant Chatbase the necessary permissions to send messages to your Slack workspace.
Click 'Allow'
To proceed with the integration, click the 'Allow' button. This action confirms your consent and completes the authorization process.
Step 4: Confirming Integration Completion
Congratulations! The chatbot is now ready to assist your team and improve communication within your Slack workspace.
